When we launched the Seijyu matcha earlier this year, we could not have predicted the ravenous demand for, and without exaggeration, a nonpareil grade matcha. In truth, we moved too much for the Yamaguchi family to keep up. Now we are excited to offer a different, koicha grade, entirely stone-milled matcha. Like all of Shinya san's productions, Seihou is a field blend, but Saemidori dominant. Undergoing the signature shiage (brick oven) tencha refinement, this fully-shaded early spring harvest is lush, elegant, with mouthwatering umami.
