The Wild Turkey Longbranch Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is an unusual and remarkable whiskey. Made in cooperation with the well-known Hollywood actor, Matthew McConaughey, this wild product is aged in barrels that used to hold maple syrup. The unique process of production results in a whiskey which is soft and not overpoweringly strong.

Well, if you're Wild Turkey's Jimmy Russell and you've been distilling whiskey since 1954, you team up with your good friend Matthew McConaughey to make some more. The result is a small-batch, handcrafted bourbon inspired by the men who made it and their love for making great whiskey.

TASTING NOTES

TASTE:
A sweet bouquet upfront with subtle notes of nutmeg and toffee. Spice and a hint of oak provide a sturdy middle, before giving way to a smooth Kentucky Straight Bourbon finish.

AROMA:
Caramel, vanilla, toffee with hints of oak.

FINISH:
A smooth finish with a pop of heat. Caramel trails off into a subtle smoky goodbye.
